Sport Climbing
Sport Climbing encompasses three disciplines:

Lead Climbing
Climbers compete to see who can climb the highest.
Involves ascending a route while clipping into fixed protection points, with the rope belayed from below. This discipline also includes top rope climbing where a climber uses a rope that runs up from the climber, through an anchor at the top of the wall and back down to a belayer, providing continuous protection as the climber ascends.

Bouldering
Climbers compete to see who can reach the top.
Climbing short routes without ropes, typically close to the ground with thick mats for protection.

Speed Climbing
Climbers compete to see who is the fastest.
Climber race up a standardized route on a wall as fast as possible, aiming
to achieve the quickest time.

Para-Climbing
Competitive climbing for athletes with disabilities
Adaptive climbers compete in a range of classification groups. Athletes use specialized techniques and adaptive equipment when needed, and the emphasis is on skill, strength, and problem-solving, just like in other climbing disciplines. Each category ensures that climbers are grouped with others who have similar abilities, promoting inclusivity and equality in the sport.
